Shadowed Pines is a dark history podcast focused on the Pacific Northwest. It’s hosted by Jacob ‘Jake’ Rice.

The podcast, and its integrated website, brings you terrible tales from Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Each episode is inspired by true events. In some cases, dialogue and atmosphere will be recreated, based on the actual events.

During each episode, the host will step outside the past to speculate on what might have happened. He will clearly mark those sections.

If it applies, some haunted history may make it into the episode. After all, the ghosts of history still haunt us today. What’s wrong with a little spooky fun, eh?

Not every episode will focus on an event like a tragedy or disaster. Some will have a true crime angle, while others may have a location slant. Here are some topics covered by the podcast:
